Just had a long weekend thanks to the Queen - in Australia we get the Queen's birthdy off :)
Had a lovely weekend :) very civil and sociable to say the least. On the friday we chilled with a bottle of wine and a film to ease us out of the week. On the saturday went to Manly Dam with some friends and had a picnic - which was beautiful so much life there!! Cockatoo galore, bush turkeys and ducks, ducks and more ducks!
On the sunday we spent the arvo with some friends for Summer's birthday and went to a place called The 4 Pines - love it in there, they brew their own beer in house and sell it to. It was crazy rammed and luckily good ol' Summer reserved a tabla! sorry about quality of the pics there from my phone! :)
Later that evening we had a catch with with a couple friend of ours who went to the UK and just got back, so we had a few bottles of wine, Ian's amazing homemade lasagne and one of them made this lush salad and amazing salad dressing! mmm mmmm.. I then got given proper English Cadburys chocolate and boy it tasted so good! we ate half a bar and still got one and a half left!! ha
Today I went to the apple store with Ian as the bottom of my mac melted... don't ask only. to. me. could that happen!! The apple store here is HUGE!! MASHOUSIV! but so quick I went in, got seen and they fixed it there and then!! Awesome :) we then went to the QBV for a spot of retail therapy - lova bit of that me - and then had tea and scones at the top of QVB :) Just about to sit down with a film and not wine probably a classy glass of diet coke! ha!
