March into Merivale The Launch Party - The Ivy

The boyfriend and 3 fabulous friends went along to the "March into Merivale" Launch Party last night hosted at The Ivy. We we're given $30 in vouchers (9 food and 3 drinks) and got the opportunity to have the best picks from all the Merivale restaurants in Sydney.

As we came down the ally way we are greeting with two gorgeous women (above) standing/sitting with food and striking some sexy poses! There where people donning top hats with Pasta & Lobsters attached and holding bread fans. Behind them was Ashburn Lane all lit up with chinese style lights with tents. On the way we tried mini spicy pork burgers, the WORLDS best steak from Mad Cow and some oysters. We also ended by the bar with a few glasses of champers of course ;)

There was a few famous faces Miss World - Australia, Adriano Zumbo (famous dessert designer), Peter Doyle (Famous chef) and the owner of Merivale. I must say Miss World looked amazing!! just flawless :)

We then went inside one of two buildings which makes up the club Ivy. This consists of several floors and the top one being an amazing pool bar! We walked into the ball room and before us was smells of sushi, satay chilli chicken, pasta and prawns. 12 amazing restaurants all under one roof!



Each flag from the roof is dedicated to one restaurant. Beside them where bars with champers, beer, wine and for those who decided not to drinks water and soft drinks. In the middle of the flags where the tables where to food was prepared. Over all the food was amaze!! We were in one of Sydney's best establishments with an amazing atmosphere accompanied by fabulous friends!

After we left the Ivy I then took my friends to the Orbit Bar at World square for a cocktail and to enjoy an amazing few 47 stories high! Then we had to catch the Manly ferry back... cue 4 drunks on a boat 2 of which are skitting the Essex accent!! BADLY!...
