New Year, New Me - Week 1

Day 1 Monday 9th January 2011
Food
Breakfast - Honey Porridge Sachet
Lunch - Campbell Chunky Hearty Chicken & Corn with 3 slices of wholegrain bread, buttered
Can of redbull
Packet of oven roasted chilli chips (Red Deli)
Dinner (pictured below)
Lamb Cutlet marinated in Natural yoghurt with crushed garlic and lemon juice. Accompanied with steamed potatoes and green beans tossed with mint, parsley and olive oil.
Dinner - mmmmm yum!
Excercise
Had to get to 3000 on the rowing machine but I flaked out at just around 1600 (roughly 10 minutes)
I did 20 minutes on the bicycle quite high levels majority of the time between the risestence's 10 - 14 and used level 8 to cool down then slowly worked my way down to low levels on my cool down
I attacked my chest muscle today so lifted ___ on each arm - 3 reps of 8 on the bench press. I then moved to the _____ and pushed 60kg again 3 reps of 8. Because I hadnt worked out for a few weeks I couldn't do another chest excercise as my chest got quite weak quite quick. I know im not strong so it will take time to build up my muscle in order to lift more, and higher weights to.

Day 2 Tuesday 10th January 2011
Food

Breakfast - Porridge
Lunch - Garlic Prawn Ceaser Salad with croutons. This was a resturant salad and the ceaser was not caked on - there was a nice amount and mixed in with the salad so there wasnt a huge amount. Drink was a Diet Coke with a packet of Crisp's

Dinner (pictures below)
Chicken Hotpot with white wine, onion, garlic, tomatoes, olives, pepper accompanied with steamed potatoes & peas and tossed with mixed herbs - this was DEEEEEEEEEEE-LICIOUS!

Today was a rest day so no excercise

Day 3 Wednesday 11h January 2011
Food

Breakfast - Porridge
Lunch - 2 rounds of hand sandwiches (4 slices of wholegrain bread) 2 nice slices of ham in each - dry no butter
Banana
600ml bottle of diet coke
Bag of chips
Dinner (picture below)
Beef Stroganoff (cornflour, pepper, worchcester sauce, onion, parsley, beef, mushrooms, paprika, garlic, greek yoghurt) served with steamed vegetables


Day 4 Thursday 12th January 2011
Food

Breakfast - Egg & Bacon Sandwich

Lunch - Hearty Chicken & Corn soup with 2 slices of seed and grain bred

Dinner - Bacon, onion, garlic and cheese omlette... didnt take a picture as omlette is omlette right?? lol

Day 5 Friday 13th January 2011
Food

Breakfast - Honey Porridge

Lunch - Mexican chicken wrap, packet of chips and diet coke

Dinner - Glass of white wine with sausage's and rice

Day 6 Saturday 14th January 2011
Food

Breakfast - No Breakfast

Lunch - Steak Sandwich

Dinner - Beef Kebab

Drinks other than water - Alcohol

Day 7 Sunday 15th January 2011
Food

Lunch - Burger and chips
Dinner - 3 chicken wings and 2 slices of fiery chorizo pizza.

 This looks like an awful end to a really good week but in fact I am still on average hitting my daily target of 1500 and this particular day was only 100 over my daily intake of 1500. Below are the same style pictures as before...
