Manly Wharf Hotel, Manly - Review

So after a long day at work on a Thursday eve - I decided to get home, shower, eat and get home ready for a drink with my partner

and his parents. I get's home, take of my shoes to reveal my "holy" socks ;) and then jump in the shower why the partner cooks me my dinner - yes guys and girls he is well trained ;).

We walk down to Manly Wharf and was not sure weather to go the 4 pines or Manly Wharf Hotel - we walk over to 4 Pines and is to busy for a nice chilled drink - so we waddle on back over to Manly Wharf Hotel. We walk upto the Hotel and notice the size of this place, I mean I know bars are big but this is massive in comparison to some other places, it not like it turns into one of those teeny boppers bar/nightclub its just a bar with live music aswell.

We walk through the door and immediatley what hits me is the how clean, crisp and spacious this place is! in front of you is a bar about 25 meters long and in the huge space is tall wooden tables with wooden chairs to match - this room could hold 300 easily! then as you stand at the first bar to your right is a 2'nd bar about 15 meters in length with nice leather seats, slightly dated with odds orange hints in the wall and floor, giving it a 1980's slight feel! To the left of this bar is 2 pool tables for your to beat your friends on to win some more drinks! Carrying on from the first bar there is also a 3rd bar just round the corner - this is where you order their food - for this there is a hugggeeeee layout out for chairs n tables I suppose a bit to school dinner like - but this is not a high class resturant we are talking about, its just a bar and sells good quality food!

Once you have gone through bar 1 and 3 your will notice and outside area with a 4th bar - only issue is here you cant take a drink you brought from inside to outside and vice versa - I pressume this is due to no drinking on the streets and between the inside and outside there is a public walkway. Now this bar is something else, not only are you suspended one of the world famous harbours, your have a breath taking view of Heads, Balgowlah, Manly and also the famous Manly Ferry. With a selection of wines, beer and sparkles Manly Wharf Hotel has much to offer.

Whether its Swedish Girls in Underwear, live acoustic music, live singing or themed party's (like Valentines Day at Manly Wharf Hotel) this place offers fun, relaxation and laughs all under one roof!... with 4 bars (all available for hire), a bistro and pool tables in the heart of Manly this gives any person a reason to wait until the next ferry back to Sydney ;)
