Restaurant Review - Garfish, Manly

well, well, well...
What a restaurant, as you can see by this spectacular photo, Garfish has an amazing view and with the added atmosphere and aroma, you just can't beat it.
As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the most tidy, clean and well presented host - who kindly takes you to your seat immediatley asking you if you wish to have water for the table. Your table is set, clean and shining! We ordered some champagne, and was poured with perfection, one hand behind the back and one hand to pour, no spillage or mess just clean and smooth bubbles in a glass. We then got the menu which consisted off raw fish, grilled fish, battered fish, cooked fish, shell-fish just basically all kinds of fish, you just couldn't move for fish!
I ordered the Kingprawns, and these where no means your average kingprawns these we're HUGE! My mum ate Lobster (paid by the pound and the price varies daily). So whilst we waited for our freshly cooked, freshly caught on the day fish we we're taken back by the view we had (we sat n the table of 4 in this picture) and whilst talking, just sat and stared - stared some more and stared even more lol! just an amazing view. We also noticed TV's around around the restaurant (sorry lads no fotty or cricket for you this evening) this TV is actually linked to the kitchen so you can see what they are cooking, how clean the cooking area is and how they cook! simple, but so so affective - remember I said in the review of Grandmas Bar on Clarence Street? small things have BIG impact, this is again on of those thing.
Our food came out (after a few bubbles, wines and beer) and was absolutely amaze!!... - Cue my mum taking 1 hour and 45 minutes to eat her lobster lol!! and the prawns I had where just so crunchy and fresh!! I had not eaten prawns like it - altho secretly I was a little jealous of my mums lobster haha!!
For dessert I had a chocolate fondant which once my fork has pierced the crunchy warm chocolate case, the middle just ouzzzzzzzed out nice, slow and thick! the best chocolate dessert I have eaten in a long time.
All in all this restaurant is fab! clean and tidy, good food, good hospitality and most of all an amazing venue with an amazing view!! I give this place 9.5 out of 10!
