Fan & Obsessed... There is a difference

With someone as big as Elton John, Lady Gaga, Usher and even with people not so big like Perez Hilton, Nicole Scherzinger and soap stars there will always be fans.
I have never waiting for long periods of times to meet anybody ever until now. Recently I met Lady GaGa on two different occasions and got my CD signed. I thought there would be a few of us 20, 30, 40 or 50 to be honest I didn't know what to expect. What I did know, or at least thought I knew, was that it would be civilised... why you ask? I am not sure I just thought we would sit, wait socialise and meet new people until we were able to meet her - Turns out I was wrong - Very wrong.
In my eye's a fan is someone who appreciates the person for what or who they are and what they have done/achieved i.e. I am a fan of Lady gaga because I believe in her music, they help people through certain times in their lives and a big part of what I like is she writes her music and she is a performer. I met a couple of people TJ, Jenna and Lauren but on the other hand a lot of the people where beyond fans - way way beyond - they were obsessed. There was even "fans" that wouldn't tell other fans or "fans" where she was playing in Sydney and got angry with gaga for tweeting about it?
In my eye's someone obsessed by someone is dangerous! Scary! and can't imagine their life without them! There was people rude, obnoxious and nasty. A friend of when she walked in front of someone and she got "you best get out my way b!tch". People got pushed, shoved, slapped, kicked and abuse hurled at them because so and so got tickets to the secret gig because they wern't real fans and so and so got a picture and I didn't blah blah. This is where a situation is dangerous. People screaming, people running into roads not looking people crying and even people jumping in taxis and chasing her in taxi's I mean how is that legal? If I run the government them people would be sectioned but then on the other hand if I run the government that would be dangerous to !! ha
After this week I met a few good friends, a few bad ones and some contacts. I have a chat on Friday which may have potential and also have another food review coming this weekend at one of my fave kind of food restaurant!! mmmm mmmm... so keep peeled for these :)
